Any which way?
They say that humans are creatures of habit. We tend to go the way we usually go, even though there may be many other paths or ways to choose from.
In this investigation, you will explore the different ways you can go to get to and from places you regularly visit. You could choose the different ways you could go to school or even the ways to go from your school to the local library or swimming pool.
Your task will be to:
– create a Scribblemap to show the different ways you can go to and from your favourite destinations.
– work out the shortest and fastest paths to take. Remember that the shortest route may not always be the fastest.
– develop a list of directions to give to others so they can get to and from your chosen location.
– compare your directions with those on www.whereis.com if possible.
